  • What is an IBCLC?
    An IBCLC is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (https://iblce.org/). IBCLCs are trained professionals specialiazed in clinical management of brestfeeding. They are often (but not always) Registered Nurses or Midwives.
  • What can an IBCLC do for you?
    - Challenges with latching - Infant not gaining weight - Low milk supply - Oversupply or engorgement - Nipple or breast pain - Mastitis - Using a pump - Transitioning back to work - And a lot more
  • Is Lactation Support covered by medical insurance?
    It is now more and more commun to get medical insurance coverage for lactation support, however it may not be a full coverage, it will depend on your policy. Check your coverage in the insurance section.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Yes, most Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, or Cigna PPOs should cover in full. Check your coverage in the insurance section.
